“If you ever thought about having dried flowers at your wedding, stop reading and book Sylvia immediately! I am so glad we found Sylvia and worked with her as my wedding florist. I never thought of myself as traditional, and I knew I wanted to go with dried flowers for my wedding for aesthetic and sustainable reasons (dried florals last much longer than fresh flowers and don't need to be pressed to be preserved!)
It was so easy working with Sylvia. From our initial conversation, Sylvia guided me through my mood board and the wedding color palette to bring my ideas to reality. She walked me through some of her past work for additional inspiration, which was super helpful! I found that seeing real life examples of the weddings she's done really helped me with articulating what I wanted for my own. It was also amazing to see her amazing artistry and craft skills. She can do anything you see on Pinterest/Instagram, but better.
I also invited Sylvia to the venue walkthrough. Sylvia was so knowledgeable about the flower choices and matching the mood of the floral arrangements with the venue's wooden tones. I really appreciated that she was able to curate the flower arrangements to add a personal touch. She was able to remove (most) eucalyptus due to a guest allergy and add dahlias (which were slightly out of season) to honor a loved one who passed away. She even added a little touch by matching the bouquet ribbons to the gradient color palette for the bridal party.
Sylvia's attention to detail went beyond the floral arrangements. She confirmed the deliverables with us multiple times since we had sudden changes to the wedding party. She texted me recommendations for some items that would fit very well with our décor. She made sure that the personal items (bouquets, corsages, and pocket boutonnieres) were picked up on time by our assigned person.
Sylvia took such great care of us. I am so incredibly lucky to have met such a kind, patient, and creative soul. The trio bud arrangements were such a hit – everyone was so excited to take them home at the end of the night. While I would have loved to take the larger arrangements, I didn’t have space to take them back to Los Angeles with me (wedding was in Saratoga, CA). However, the venue staff scooped in and said they'd happily use them around the property. Yay for reuse! It just shows how loved the arrangements were throughout the entire crowd.
Thank you so much for making our special day so unique and so memorable!”
